This large-format work is reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe's exuberant Andy Warhol smile. The children are fully grown, and their parents have always loved this childhood photograph. The background colors have been altered slightly - more light reds and purples than pink and blue. The patrons requested two of these large pieces, each to be created with its own natural variation in color and texture. The finished works will eventually be bequeathed, one original work for each child.
