In the Park, 24 x 24, 2006 I compiled three photos to create this portrait. In the photo, the children were nicely balanced in a pyramid shape. The baby’s smile wasn’t what we wanted, so we substituted his smile from another photograph with similar lighting. The parents wanted to add the dog, so I chose this photo of the family dog, flipped it around, adjusted her size to fit in relative to the sizes of the children, and worked her in to the composition. |
